怒涛の１日台中巡り in台湾/One day trip to Taichung in Taiwan

みなさま、こんにちは！

Hey guys!

今回は、友達が台湾に遊びに来ていた時に一緒に行った台中のことを書こうと思います(^^) 

I'm going to write about my Taichung trip with my friend who came over from Japan (^^)

友達の滞在期間が少なかったこともあり、１日で台中を頑張って回りました。

Her stay in Taiwan was too short, so we went through Taichung only for one day.

あまり回りきれてないですが、友達の行きたいところは行けたかなぁという感じです。

The places we visited were not much, but we made almost all the places she wanted to go!

しかも、ほとんどが私が行ったことない場所で楽しかった！！ 

Plus, most of the places were where I haven't been!!

2月26日の夜に台中入りして、とりあえず一中街の夜市を散策。

We got to Taichung at night of Feb, 26, then headed to Yizhong Night Market.

ちょうどこの期間は台湾が大型連休だったので 夜市の人の多さエグかった・・・orz 

It was also big holiday season for Taiwanese and look at this crowds lol

味が微妙のラーメンを食べて、

We had Japanese style ramen which tasted so-so (haha,

この日は予約済みのAirbnbへ行きおやすみzzz

then quickly back to Airbnb and had a great sleep zzz

次の日は朝から春水堂(^^) 

Next morning started with Chung Shui Tang (^^)

タピオカミルクティー発祥のお店です。

This shop is the world's origin of Bubble Milk Tea!!

タピオカミルクティーは台湾から世界に広まったドリンクなんですよ！

Bubble Milk Tea actually spread from Taiwan to the World.

オーストラリアに居たころ、cityにたくさんタピオカのお店あったんですが、 どこも結構「台湾の！！」みたいな宣伝文句。

When I lived in Australia, I saw a lot of bubble tea drink stores in the Melbourne city and most of the shops always appealed as "This is from Taiwan!!!" lol

日本でも最近台湾のタピオカ屋さんが進出して話題になりましたよね。

I feel like recently bubble tea is booming in Japan too.

春水堂は、イートインスペースが中華レストランみたいで可愛いんです。

This shop has cutie traditional Chinese style restaurant inside, so you can sit and talk with yummy bubble tea :D

タピオカドリンク以外にもエビ小籠包などもありますよ。

They serve small meals like shrimp dumplings and western toasts, too!

春水堂のあとは、台中といえば！！な宮原眼科！

After the bubble tea, next destination in Taichung was famous "Miyahara"!!!

日本人の宮原さんが眼科を開いていた場所が、今ではチョコレートとお茶とアイス屋さん。

This place was actually belonged to Dr.Miyahara who was a Japanese ophthalmologist lived around there. Now they sell chocolate, tea, and ice cream.

とってもモダンで趣があり可愛いお店です。 

I felt like back to 50 years ago but everything is still so cute!

チョコレートやお茶はパッケージも可愛くて、お土産として非常に大人気。

The packages of chocolate and tea look so unique and cute. Great souvenir choices.

アイスもトッピングの数やフレーバーの種類が豊富で、土日は基本的に長蛇の列。

For the ice cream, there are tens of toppings and flavors you can choose from. Normally people line up on weekends.

この日は大型連休と重なっていたため、結局アイス買えませんでしたQQ

It was a big public holiday when we visited, and unfortunately we couldn't get one :(

そして次は、台中の駅から一駅先の「大慶駅」で下車して、虹色村へ。

Then we got in the train from Taichung train station, then got off at the next stop called "Daqing Station" for the Rainbow Village!

本当はバスで行く予定だったんですが、駅周辺工事中でバス停がわからず、

We were supposed to go there by bus from the station, but the construction hided all the signs and we couldn't find the bus stop lol

やっと見つけたバス停も時刻表がオワっていて結局タクシー笑

15 minutes later we finally found the bus stop but somehow it was impossible to understand the timetable lol We eventually just caught a taxi lol

台湾はタクシー安いので、ここに行くには断然タクシーがオススメです。

I recommend you catch a taxi in Taiwan because the bus does not work well at some half-rural places and more than that, Taiwanese taxes are so cheap!!

この場所は、見てのとおりと〜〜ってもカラフルに家を塗りたくった場所なんですが

Then we finally got to the Rainbow Village~~!!! The house is colorfully and uniquely painted :D

実は、一人のおじいちゃんが自分の家にペイントしまくったら観光地になったというとってもユニークな場所。

Surprisingly this painting was done by one elderly man, and the house is his private home! Now it has become one of the famous sightseeing spot in Taichung (haha

おじいちゃんは90歳代ですが、まだまだご健全で、一緒に写真撮ったりサインもしてくれます<3

The man is now 90s years old, and you can actually see him there and he also gives you signature and selfies :)

とってもアクティブだなぁ〜〜〜

Such an energetic and kind guy!! :)

台中での出来事はこんな感じ！

These are the things we have done in Taichung!

１日しかなかったし、少し遠い虹色村に行ったりしたので、 北のほうは廻れなかったのですが、

Unfortunately we couldn't go the north of Taichung (where also gathers lots of famous spots), as we headed to little bit far Rainbow Village and literally only had one day.

台中の魅力をぎゅっと満喫できたんじゃないかな。

But I guess we could felt unique Taichung culture enough (^^)
