Kuala Lumpur 3 やっとKL観光！/Finally sightseeing in KL city!

今回はクアラルンプール市内での観光について〜

This article is about the things I did within the Kuala Lumpur city.

KL到着後3日目にして、ようやくKL市内の観光の運びとなりました！

After the 3days from the arrival in KL, I finally got a chance to muck around within the city!

この日は、以前台湾の嘉義を旅行中に仲良くなったマレーシアの女の子、MJの案内！

A Malaysian girl I met during my trip to Chiayi in Taiwan, called MJ, helped and showed me around KL on that day!

まさか彼女の母国でこんなにも早く再開できるだなんて想像してなかったのでめちゃくちゃ嬉しかった〜

I didn't expect we would have a chance to catch up again in such a short time! <3

MJとは同い年で性格も似ていて、とっても気が合うんですよ (^^)

She is same age as me and we share a lot of common (^^) Great friend!

そんなMJとKLセントラルの駅で待ち合わせをして、まず向かった先はBatu Cave!

Firstly we headed to Batu Cave from KL Sentral station.

電車で20分くらいで行けちゃう観光地です (^^)

It was about 20 minutes by train from there.

ここはヒンドゥー教の人々にとって神聖な場所。

This place is for Hindu people to pray and visit.

この２日前に訪れたPenangの極楽寺では中国の旧正月をお祝いしてイルミネーションしていましたが、

When I visited Penang 2days before the day, the huge temple, Kek Lok Si, had a brilliant lighting decoration to celebrate Chinese New Year,

今回、このBatu Caveでもヒンドゥーのイベントのためとっても賑やかでした！

and here also had a Hindu related events during my stay and was so crowded with shops and people!

本当に、本当に私は運が良かった〜〜〜

How lucky I was!!!

駅から洞窟の入り口まではこんな感じで屋台が並ぶ・・・

Shops lined up from the station to the entrance of Cave...

ヒンドゥー教関係の雑貨がたくさん！お兄さんもピースでノリが良い！笑

It was great chance to take a look Hindu related goods and foods there! And I love how the guy posed to my camera in the picture lol

海外に行くと結構いる、あの写りたがりの人々はなんなんですかね(笑

People start posing when I show my camera every time I go abroad lol

日本人はそういうのしなそう・・・というか、むしろ写らないように避けそう(笑

Such thing never happened in Japan though... Japanese more likely avoid being into the photo haha

ちなみに、洞窟の中はなんかゴミがひどかった・・・・

Actually the rubbish in the cave was horrible....

ここ数日間のイベントのために大量の人が押し寄せて、それでポイ捨てして帰るのかな(T^T)

I guess it was because too many of people visited over the festival season, and just left their rubbish behind here.

ただまとめてるだけだから、なんかめっちゃ臭かったし・・・

The rubbish were just gathered up and I wonder why no one took them away... It stink so bad...

猿もいたよ！尻尾が超長い〜〜〜

Anyway, there were monkeys too! Their tales were sooo long!

写真撮るために近づいたら威嚇されてめっちゃ怖かった・・・・(泣

However I was threatened and one of them even tried to snatch a bag from one tourist... :(

なんか他の観光客の荷物を取ろうとしたり、すごい活発で凶暴なお猿さんたちでした。

So aggressive and brutal!!!

喧嘩してる子たちもいて、怖かった・・・

I also have seen little ones fighting each other... I wanted to leave their territory as soon as possible lol

あ、あと、Batu Caveはヒンドゥーの寺院なので、生足は厳禁です！

By the way, Batu Cave is a Hindu temple and you cannot show off your legs!

外国人向けに、入り口で布をレンタルしてくれます。

You can borrow a scarf at the entrance and need to cover your legs.

ムスリム・モスクでは頭の被り物から洋服までレンタルしてもらって、

I borrowed Hijab for Muslim Mosque,

ヒンドゥー寺院では腰に巻く足をかくす布をレンタルしてもらって、

and also borrowed scarf at Hindu temples.

なんか、私の宗教に関する無頓着さが・・・笑

Now I feel so bad as my ignorance about religions...

(イスラムのローブはさすがに自分で用意できませんが・・・)

(but I wouldn't be able to prepare Muslim Hijab, even if I knew their dress code...)

日本の神社やお寺では帽子を脱ぐくらいしかしないので、そこまで頭が回りませんでした(汗

Japanese temples and shrines do not requires much for the dress code, such as only taking off your hat or cap.

Batu Caveを一通り回って、MJと座って一休み。

After mucking around Batu Cave, MJ and I sit at the corner and had a little bit of chat.

その時にたまたま車が通りかかって

Suddenly one car happened to pass in front of us, then MJ said,

「あ、あの車の人めっちゃお金持ちだよ」

"Oh, the owner of the car must be super rich".

ってMJがすぐさま言うので、訳を聞いてみたら

I was like "Why", and she explained,

「マレーシアではみんな富や権力を魅せつけたがるの。あの人の車のナンバープレートの数字は、車本体の値段よりも高いんだよ」

"Malaysian people tend to show off their wealth and authority. That car's number is actually more expensive than the car itself."

って教えてくれて、

Hearing that, I was like

ナンバープレートが車よりも高い！？！？！？！？

"wt*?! Number plate worth more than a car?!?!?!?"

って驚愕の事実でした・・・笑

It was the time when I added new cultural difference idea in my mind...

そして駅へ戻る途中にMJが

Then when we were going back to the station,

「はい！暑いから〜。マレーシアの国民的ドリンク〜！」

"Here you go! It's so hot here today. Our national drink!"

ってミロをくれたよ！マレーシアでは本当に至る所にミロがあるんです〜

MJ treated me MILO drink! I indeed saw many times this drink at everywhere in Malaysia lol

小さい頃よく飲んでた懐かしい味！ありがとうMJ~~~ <3 <3

The taste reminded me my little ages! Thanks MJ~~~ <3 <3

Batu Caveの後は、ペトロナスツインタワーへ〜

Next destination was famous famous Petronas Twin Towers!

クアラルンプールに来たらとりあえず行かなきゃ！っていう使命感にかられるあのタワー。

I was always urged "I need to go there during my stay here!!"

MJはこのタワーの下のショッピングセンターで前働いてたみたいで、

MJ used to work in the shopping centre beneath the tower,

いろいろ案内してくれました。

so gave me a lot of info around there :)

それにしても、この周辺はビルしかなくて、なんだか私には殺風景でした〜

But I thought this area was dreary only having contemporary buildings!!

もうこんなの東京と同じやーん！

Exactly same as Tokyo, where I have grown up!! Nothing fresh!! lol

最近、旅行していても、こんなビルしかない町並みにはあまり惹かれないというか・・・

Recently I am not attracted to such modern city, even when I travel abroad...

逆にすることなくない！？買い物なら日本ですればいいじゃん！笑

I have no idea what to do in such modern business district! Shopping? I can shop in Japan too! lol

高層タワーの街って、誰が何処が考えたんだろう・・・・ニューヨークとかなんかな・・・

Also I am wondering who started such tower buildings at where... Guess New York...??

この写真みたいに隙間なくビルで埋め尽くされても、なんか。。。微妙。。。笑

This photo is extreme image of modern city that there are even no space between each building...lol

建築的には面白いけど、私の旅は異文化を見たり観察するのが主な目的なので、この辺は軽くスルーでした笑

The area was interesting in the perspective of architecture, but I rather prefer to find and observe the difference in culture, so I did not go deep around there.

そのあとに連れて行ってくれたのは、Central Market！

Then we went to Central Market!

1888年からやってる！すんごい歴史〜〜〜

Since 1888? OMG so old!

日本では大日本帝國憲法が登場したあたりですね。まだ残ってるなんてすごいなぁ

It was when first constitutional law was released in Japan. So impressive they still operate the market from then.

このマーケット、内部がマレー系、中華系、インド系に分かれているんです。

The inside of the Market is divided into three; Malay, Chinese and Indian.

マレーシアを代表とする３民族ですよね！

They are the main ethnic groups in Malaysia!

それぞれのブースはタイルから照明まで独自の感性が出ていて面白かった〜

Each area interestingly featured different style of tiles on the floor and lumps.

ここをふらふら回った後は、KLセントラルに戻ってMJのおすすめレストランへ〜

Finally we were back to KL Sentral and had a dinner at Indian street, which is MJ's favorite!

絶対現地人の友達がいないと意味がわからないやつ笑笑

Impossible to understand the menu without a local friend lol

しかも、超ローカルなお店だから値段が破格です！

The restaurant was only for locals so the price was extremely cheap!

1リンギットが25円くらい。

RM1=USD0.2 (most of the meal cost only $1!!!!)

インド系のお店なので、カレーをたくさん頼みました！

Since it was an Indian restaurant, we ordered a lot of curry!

残念ながらカレーの写真は無くしちゃったので、コーヒーの写真(笑

Unfortunately I lost all the curry photos...(cry... so here's the coffee I had there lol

このコーヒーは、ハイナニーズコーヒーといって、この辺のローカルコーヒー。

This coffee is called as "Hinanese Coffee" which is loved by the local people out there.

めっっっっっちゃおいしくて私大好きになりました！(驚)

This coffee tasted sooooooooooo greattttttttt. I fell in love!!!

ほんま、カップの汚さで判断してはいけません(笑) 本質は中身ですね！何事も！

You cannot judge by the dirt on the cup lol The most important is the inside! Can be said for everything!

ちなみに、ここで食べたカレー、

By the way, the curry I had there,

帰りの飛行機でたまたま隣だったインド人の人に見せたら

I showed the photo of it to the Indian guy sitting next to me in the return flight to Taipei, and he said

「この写真のカレー、片方はインド北部、もう片方はインド南部のカレーだよ〜

"Ohhh one of the curry in the photo is from Northern India and the other one is from Southern India!!

俺は南部出身だから、最近までこの北部のカレーは見たこともなかったんだ〜

I am from the South, so even I never saw the Northern curry until quite recently!

両方を一度に食べれたなんて、君ラッキーだね！」

You are so lucky having the both in one time!"

と言われました(驚) 今回の旅行、私本当にラッキーだ！笑

hahaha sounds I was so lucky lol

あと、食べ物関係でいうとマレーシアのスタバ、実はラザニアがあるんです〜〜〜〜

Adding to the food I had in Malaysia, the Malaysian Starbucks has lasangna!

ラザニア大好き星人な私は、もう即購入でした。朝ごはん。

To be honest, I am crazy for lasagna and did not need any second to decide and order it lol My breakfast <3

Batu Caveに行く予定だったので、スタバのフリーマガジンで予習。(正確にはマリンド・エアの本)

It was just before heading to Batu Cave, so preparing information from Malindo Air Magazine.

スタバでお会計をしてる時に、レジのお兄さんが

When I was checking at the front, the cashier guy told me,

「お姉ちゃん日本人なのに英語いけるね！ちょっと俺に日本語教えてよ！」

"You are Japanese but speak English pretty good! Please teach me Japanese then!"

ってすんごい日本人に対する偏見をサラっと言われ、

he expressed the stereotypes towards Japanese without any hesitation lol, and

コーヒーのサイズ「小さい」「大きい」「中くらい」とかそういうの少し教えました。

I taught how to call "Small" "Large" "Medium" and so on in Japanese.

「日本語勉強してるの？」と聞くと、

When I asked him "You study Japanese?", he said

「いやだって、日本人のお客さん結構くるんだけどさ、みんな英語わからないっぽくて。俺が日本語やるしか！」って答えてくれた(泣)

"No, it's just many Japanese visit here but everyone seems can't understand English. So I want to learn Japanese instead!!" How nice he is....!!!!! (cry

こんな感じで、マレーシアでは結構日本人だとわかると日本語の単語話してくれたりする人多いです。自分のビジネスのためでもあるんだろうけど、優しい〜

I actually met a lot of other Malaysian like him, who speak bit of Japanese for Japanese tourists. Many of them tried speaking Japanese when they noticed I am Japanese. Maybe it is part of their business but I thought they are so nice to Japanese....

だって、例えばこれがオーストラリアとかだったら

Because if it is in Australia,

きっとそんなに日本人観光客のために日本語勉強しようとか思わないですよ！

I don't think Aussies try learning Japanese for Japanese tourists! lol

そんな感じで、この日もたくさん発見のあった１日でした！

I discovered a lot on that day in KL too!
